Well it’s fair to say the Hogwarts boys and girls are definitely grown up. Sob. First we had Daniel Radcliffe opening up in this week’s issue of heat about his problems with drinking and now Tom Felton has been tweeting about his move to LA. Nooo!
Tom (who played Harry Potter’s rival Draco Malfoy) has decided to make the move to the states, to secure more acting jobs and it seems to be doing the trick! After his role in last year’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Tom has no less than FOUR new films on the way! This includes horror film The Apparition, out later this year, in which he’ll be starring alongside Twilight’s Ashley Green.
Tom is looking for a new LA pad with his girlfriend Jade Olivia, who played his onscreen wife Astoria Greengrass in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Aww. Sounds like Hogwarts was quite the romantic setting. First there was Bonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower getting engaged, then Daniel Radcliffe’s relationship with Rosie Cocker and now Tom and Jade! If only we’d been around to meet Rupert Grint… we could all have had one big Harry Potter themed wedding in Tom’s new home.
By the looks of things, the couple are having a lovely time enjoying the sunshine! “Another beautiful morning in LA! Hoping house hunting is more successful today #hotellife”, Tom tweeted. Stop making us jealous! It’s freezing here! Plus, with all our witches and wizards off gallivanting being big movie stars and such, there’s no one to magic the clouds away. Hufth.
