As expected, Katherine Jackson and her grandson T.J. Jackson will share guardianship of the Michael Jackson's three children.
The mother of the late King of Pop was reinstated as temporary co-guardian of Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, by Judge Mitchell Bleckloff in a hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday, Radar Online reports.
"It's clear that the kids love Mrs. Jackson and they are very well taken care of," Judge Beckloff said. "They also love T.J. Jackson, and Mrs. Jackson is doing a terrific job with the children.
Katherine, 82, lost guardianship on last Wednesday after she temporary left her family for a retreat to Miraval Resort & Spa in Arizona. The judge appointed Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son T.J. as temporary guardian of his three younger cousins -- and he was also tasked with managing their their $70,000-a-month allowance.
"I am devastated that while I've been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home," their grandmother told ABC News last Wednesday.
Sources tell Us Weekly that during Katherine's separation from her grandchildren, the family was bitterly divided. After Michael died in June 2009 and Katherine was awarded guardianship, "Randy begged his mom to contest the estate," a source tells Us Weekly, "But she didn't want to rock the boat."
When Janet Jackson, 46, and her siblings Jermaine, 57, Randy, 50, Rebbie, 62, took Katherine to her luxe vacation in Arizona on July 18, they publicly declared Michael's will as "fake" and demanded the estate lawyers step down.
An insider explains to Us that T.J. took the feud to court "to protect them all from this mess."
